Environmental Policy

At Kimbu Rental, we recognize the importance of protecting the environment and supporting sustainable business practices. As a provider of camera, drone, lighting, audio, and production equipment rentals, we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations while helping creative professionals access high-quality equipment through a shared-use rental model.

Our Commitment

We aim to conduct our business responsibly and in accordance with applicable environmental laws and regulations of Nepal. We continually seek practical ways to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and promote environmentally responsible practices within our operations.

Equipment Lifecycle Management

To maximize the lifespan of our equipment and reduce unnecessary waste, we:

  • Regularly inspect, maintain, and service rental equipment.
  • Repair equipment whenever practical before considering replacement.
  • Reuse compatible accessories and components where appropriate.
  • Encourage responsible handling of equipment by customers.

Electronic Waste Management

Camera equipment, batteries, lighting systems, and electronic accessories may eventually reach the end of their useful life. Kimbu Rental seeks to manage electronic waste responsibly by:

  • Reusing and refurbishing equipment where feasible.
  • Separating electronic waste from general waste streams.
  • Working with appropriate recycling or disposal providers whenever available.

Reducing Resource Consumption

We encourage digital processes wherever practical, including online bookings, electronic communications, and digital documentation. We also seek to reduce unnecessary printing and packaging materials in our day-to-day operations.

Responsible Equipment Use

We encourage customers to use rented equipment responsibly and to take reasonable precautions to avoid environmental harm during productions, events, and filming activities.

When operating drones or filming in protected or regulated areas, customers are responsible for obtaining any permits, approvals, or permissions required by the relevant authorities.

Respect for Filming Locations

Customers are encouraged to leave filming locations in a clean and responsible condition and to dispose of waste appropriately. Productions should respect local communities, cultural heritage sites, wildlife habitats, and environmentally sensitive areas.

Continuous Improvement

Kimbu Rental will periodically review this policy and seek opportunities to improve the environmental performance of its operations as the business grows.
